Sandy Boyter knows a thing or two about HVAC and its importance to the modern quality of life most of us enjoy. Growing up in a household including her parents and two brothers where HVAC was the family business, Sandy worked alongside the others and acquired a detailed knowledge of both field HVAC and customer service, getting her own HVAC license in 2006. She cites her mother, who worked as an HVAC installer until age 65, as a major influence in her life for teaching her how to overcome challenges and succeed in an overwhelmingly male-dominated industry. Both her parents taught her if you’re true to your word and treat people like family, and you’ll go far. Neither of her parents put any stock in the idea of “I CAN’T,” and Sandy lives by these philosophies to this day.
Today, Sandy applies over 20 years of HVAC knowledge to her role as the Office & Operations Manager for Peace Heating and Air Conditioning. As an SBE (Service Business Evolution) member and one of the license holders for Peace Heating and Air Conditioning, Sandy is committed to doing whatever it takes to help our customers and technicians get what they need to make sure their systems are working correctly and reliably all year round—even if she has to get her hands dirty to do it!
Supporting the teams that she backs in every way she can is nothing new to Sandy. Apart from her family upbringing in HVAC, she has five sons who have all been active in wrestling and football over the years, resulting in her devoting 15 years to the demanding role of Team Mom in her off hours. Two of her sons followed her into the HVAC trade; two others are currently serving in the US military, and the last one she jokingly refers to as a work in progress. For Sandy, stepping up and getting involved is second nature, and it has made her an incredible asset to the Peace Heating and Air Conditioning family. Her friendly, reassuring, knowledgeable manner puts customers at ease, and she’s well-liked and respected by everyone she works with for her knowledge, skill, and willingness to pitch in wherever necessary, whenever she’s needed.
